Mil Cumbres is owned by Mario Fonseca with coffee production managed by Ratibor Hartmann. Although their first ever crop was just released in 2019, their 2024 Natural Pacamara got second place in the Best of Panama Varietals auction. Out of the 60 hectares on Mil Cumbres, 25 hectares are used for coffee production while the rest is native jungle forming part of the Baru Volcano National Park.

Pacamara is a cross between Pacas and Maragogipe, with exceptional cup quality at high altitudes. It is generally a compact plant with very large bean size, although the variety is not uniform and therefore is not stable from one generation to the next. It is often grown in El Salvador, where it frequently dominates Cup of Excellence competitions for high cup quality.
